Sculptures by the Sea is an inspiring yearly exhibition on show at Cottesloe Beach that showcases local, international and national contemporary art. I love how people interact with the pieces; sheltering under the giant cask wine and the wave made of barbie dolls, sunbaking next to a mesh rhino and admiring the sculptures while cooling off in the ocean.
The exhibition runs from 7 – 24 March. I’d love to go back at sunset and see some of the pieces that had solar panels attached to them truly at their best. You can read more about the exhibition here.
I took these pictures at 40 degrees, so please excuse the glare.
I definitely think a winery should buy this cask wine bag. It could be the next Big Banana!
