Kyilla Community Farmers’ Markets

Kyilla Community Farmers' Markes

I just love a good market.

They always offer so much local produce, a good sense of community and a nice morning in the sunshine. Even though this isn’t that local to us, we decided to take a look. There were stalls for fresh flowers, organic vegetables, homemade pasta, local meat and fish, coffee, chai… just to name a few!

We ended up walking away with a big bag of fruit and veggies, fresh tortellini, a bag of chai tea (from the Fremantle company Chai Baba) and a warming cup of coffee. Make sure you bring your Keep Cups with you to get a nice discount on the delicious coffee (with Bannister Downs milk!) and have a bit more money on you than you think you’ll need. They also offer a free stall to a not-for-profit every week. I was hoping to get one of the beautiful screen printed hessian bags, but they had sold out. A good reason to go next weekend, I think!
