I stumbled upon Vivian Maier’s photography and story little while ago and have eagerly been awaiting the release of this documentary. I’m looking forward to attending the Australian Premiere of this documentary film for the Revelation Film Festival in July. This is perfect timing considering I can’t stop watching documentaries (in between the new season of Orange is the New Black, obviously). Any recommendations?
“When she died, Chicago nanny Vivian Maier left behind boxes of coats, hats, old clothes and 100,000 photographic negatives. Chanced upon by John Maloof, when he purchased a box of negatives at an auction, and following as he slowly archives the incredible photographs, organises an exhibition of the work and tries to get it recognised by the art world.” REVELATION FILM FESTIVAL
